You know I don't miss the Randolph Street Market.  Now, I have been successful there before, but this trip was on a whole 'nother level.  Jen and I were like a shopping SWAT team, searching and rescuing only the finest vintage goods.

Our loot:
60s navy blue enamel necklace
just the thing to gussy up a rather blah A.P.C. dress

70s Gucci linen wrap skirt
perfect with just about everything (after a good ironing)

oh, NBD, you see one of these every day

And most importantly, the pi├Ęce de r├ęsistance...

my silk secretary dress!!!

The problem is, as Tim Gunn would say, "it's a lot of look."  Can I pull it off?

Biscuit is skeptical.

Seriously guys, this print is beyond.  It would be a crime to allow this dress to languish in my closet.  Do I just wear it as is?  Remove the bow to tone the look down a little?  Or maybe layer it with a navy blazer?

  1. Cute loot! I love the blue wrap skirt. The dress is adorable on. If it were me I would perhaps:

1.) Wear a navy pullover sweater and let the bow hangout. Breaking up the print a bit.

2.) remove bow and wear a collar necklace (maybe even a fun contrasting one?)

  2. Ooh I hadn't even considered the sweater idea! Could definitely work.

  3. sarah i am seriously in love with that print!! wowzers

  4. Feel like it could definitely pass as Tucker or DVF!
